NUR@PETRA 2026 offers eligible Malaysian households a RM200 e-Rebate when purchasing selected 4 or 5-star energy-efficient air conditioners or refrigerators. Here's what to check before buying.

“Is the RM200 e-Rebate still available?”

That's a very reasonable question if you're currently shopping for a new air conditioner or refrigerator.

NUR:DOMESTIK 2026 runs from 1 July to 31 December 2026, but the programme is subject to an available quota on a first come, first served basis.

Eligible domestic consumers can receive a:

RM200 e-Rebate

when purchasing one eligible 4 or 5-star energy-efficient air conditioner OR refrigerator.

Who Is Eligible?

Key requirements include being a Malaysian citizen and a registered domestic electricity account user/owner. Applicants must not have made a NUR@PETRA claim in 2025, and each electricity account can receive only one e-Rebate for one appliance.

For redemption at a registered retailer, you'll need your MyKad and a domestic electricity bill from the latest three months.

Once eligibility is confirmed, the RM200 is deducted directly during the purchase.

But Don't Buy an Appliance Just Because There's a Rebate

RM200 savings are useful—but your air conditioner or refrigerator will probably stay in your home for years.

For an air conditioner, consider your room size, HP, inverter technology and energy rating.

For a refrigerator, consider your family size, required capacity, kitchen space and energy rating.

A rebate saves you money today.
